“愛デニム” (喜愛Denim)
本月專題聚焦「Denim」，這是《Lightning》雜誌經典主題。牛仔布 (Denim)，作為美式休閒風格象徵，最初是煤礦工人和其他勞工愛用的耐用工作服。其耐用特性最終被牛仔們所接受，並開始作為一種時尚注目單品。牛仔布不僅確立其作為工作服的地位，更成為反映時代潮流的時尚單品。

“Denim Addicted”
This month's feature is on "denim," a staple topic for Lightning magazine. Denim, a symbol of American casual style, was originally a durable work garment favored by coal miners and other workers. Its robustness eventually spread to cowboys, and its style began to attract attention as a fashion item. Denim established its position not merely as workwear, but as a fashion item that reflects the times.
 
Born in America, denim crossed the ocean to Japan. And now, from Kojima in Okayama Prefecture, the birthplace of denim in Japan, it is spreading to the world. Japanese denim is now one of Japan's proudest products. So this time, in order to revisit the history of Japanese denim, we visited Kojima and went undercover at the manufacturing site. Furthermore, we introduce the latest shops in "Ameyoko", the American casual street of the east, and "Jeans Street"in Kojima, the birthplace of jeans in the west, and explore the charm of jeans from every angle, including unraveling the value and reasons behind it from the details, an experience of ordering jeans, and summer jeans outfit snaps.
