“アメカジとベースボール” (美式休閒棒球)
隨著大谷翔平、山本由伸等日本球員在MLB賽場上大放異彩，棒球不僅在日本，更在全世界都擁有巨大影響力，這一點毋庸置疑。雖然我們並非刻意追捧，但本月特集的確聚焦棒球 — 並非泛指的「棒球」，而是從整體上探討。棒球起源於19世紀初美國，1872年傳入日本，如今已成為深受喜愛的國民運動。然而，《Lightning》雜誌想注視的，是棒球作為「美國文化象徵」的地位。我們也曾經從時尚觀點，特別是美式休閒風格角度來探討棒球。棒球帽、棒球外套、棒球衫… 這些都是棒球衍生物。如果你仔細觀察美國休閒愛好者熟悉的品牌和商店產品，你會發現即使數量不多，這些單品幾乎每個賽季都會出現在他們的產品線中。換句話說，棒球早已成為美式休閒風格不可或缺的一部分。因此，你之前隨意挑選的棒球帽和棒球衫應該會顯得更加時尚了。那麼不如我們就換個角度，從本誌出發重新檢視棒球吧？
 
“Baseball is America”
With Japanese players like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto making a big splash in MLB, it goes without saying that baseball is captivating not only Japan but the whole world. While we're not necessarily jumping on the bandwagon, this month's feature is on baseball. Not "baseball" in general, but "baseball" as a whole. Originating in America in the early 19th century, baseball was introduced to Japan in 1872 and is now a beloved national sport. However, what Lightning wants to focus on is baseball as a "symbol of American culture”. We've also featured baseball from a fashion perspective, specifically American casual style. Baseball caps, stadium jackets, baseball shirts... all are baseball-derived products. If you look around at the products of brands and shops familiar to American casual lovers, you'll find that even if the number isn't large, these items are always included in the lineup every season. In other words, baseball is a familiar part of American casual style. With this in mind, the baseball caps and baseball shirts you've casually picked up until now should start to look more fashionable. So, how about we take another look at baseball from a Lightning perspective?
