“心が躍る“いいTシャツ”” (讓你心動的「T恤絕品」)

“The T-Shirt Handbook”
The T-shirts worn by the American team at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics are surprisingly unchanged even after more than 100 years. The felt American flag patch on the chest suggests that T-shirts were considered "show clothing" from an early stage (please see the magazine for details). While it is said that the origins of the T-shirt lie in European underwear culture and athletic wear, I believe that America played a major role in its development into its current form. From the late 19th to early 20th century, T-shaped shirts were widely used as athletic wear, swimwear, underwear, and as numbers, school names and team names were added, these practical items gradually transformed into clothing that expressed identity. Furthermore, in the 1960s and 1970s, graphic T-shirts featuring corporate logos and messages became widespread, and the body evolved into something like a canvas. The T-shirt transcended being mere clothing and became established as a medium that reflected the times and culture. Now, in 2026, what kind of T-shirts are the brands we're interested in offering? As we head into the season where T-shirts will definitely be worn more often, let's take a look at where they are right now.
