“Must Have Work Coat”
We've reconsidered why coveralls look so cool. Originally conceived in the workplace, they're still worn today as workwear in a variety of settings. Their streamlined design allows for unrestricted movement, pockets only in the necessary places, and durable fabric — all of these features are rooted in the purpose of "work”. Perhaps that's why they're so popular in such demanding situations. A piece worn over many years reveals the time of its owner. Even fading, wear, and fraying become badges of honor. The design philosophy behind workwear, first seen over 100 years ago, has been passed down to the present day, captivating us as both workwear and a contemporary fashion item. This month's feature is "coverall”. We're not only talking about the appeal of coveralls to those who wear them daily, but also looking back at their origins as workwear and introducing new contemporary models.
