It was the practical clothing of choice for the laborers known as cowboys, who struggled daily against the harsh elements. Eventually, Western attire spread across the United States through Western movie heroes and music, transforming from mere workwear into something coveted by the masses. As you know, Western items were never popular with the masses or a huge hit. However, they are a symbol of American fashion, and they certainly possess a unique style that is ingrained in us as lovers of America. Westerns are work, fashion, history, and romance. With "country fever" on the rise worldwide these days, artists are showcasing outfits incorporating Western elements. Perhaps Westerns will be the key to fashion in 2025? This month's issue delves into Western style from Lightning's unique perspective. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the debut of Lee's iconic "101" collection.
