ボクらのアメリカ” (我們的美國)
本月號是創刊31周年紀念特大號！以「我們的美國」為主題，邀請與美國有淵源的商店員工和品牌所有者，透過物品和事件講述他們對美國的渴望和記憶。1990年代初，古著風潮還沒有今天盛行，有人在舊貨店裡尋找美國標誌性物品，並從中萌生創作靈感；有人受到美國時尚影響，對美國一切著迷：音樂、當地人、廣闊的大自然，並在東京神宮前開了一家美國餐廳和一家著名精品店。另一位則在White's Boots工廠接受過靴子製作培訓 (White's Boots是被譽為「工作靴之王」的著名品牌)... 多角度體驗每人的不同情緒。
 
還有《Lightning》編集部成員舉辦的「我們的美國」圓桌座談會。自創刊以來，編輯部一直持續介紹美國文化。說到美國，除了時尚，也不能忘記美食。在日本享受美國風味，包括漢堡、牛扒和精釀啤酒。我們推出的美國菜完美再現正宗美式味道，甚至連美國人都一次又一次地回頭品嚐。今年的年度特刊充滿對美國的熱愛，從時尚、文化到美食，不要錯過。
 
“‘31st Anniversary Special Edition’
We Love Made In The U.S.A. Products”
This issue is a special edition commemorating the 31st anniversary of the magazine's launch! Titled "Our America" we welcomed shop staff and brand owners with ties to America to talk about their admiration and memories of America through objects and events. One person was inspired to create his own products by searching for items symbolizing America at thrift shops in the early 1990s, when the vintage boom was not as widespread as it is today; another was influenced by American fashion, and was then captivated by everything about America, including the music, local people, and vast nature, and opened an American restaurant and a select shop that is considered a famous store in Jingumae, Tokyo; another person trained in boot making at the home factory of "White's Boots”, a famous brand known as the "King of Work Boots”. Experience the various thoughts of each person from their own perspective.
 
The "Our America" ​​roundtable discussion by the Lightning editorial staff, who have been introducing American culture without wavering since the magazine's launch, is also a must-read. When talking about America, we can't forget about food, not just fashion. The taste of America that can be experienced in Japan, such as hamburgers, steaks, and craft beer. We introduce American food that reproduces the authentic taste so much that even Americans return to it.
