“Zoo & Aquarium”
The endearing sight of “Punch”, a Japanese macaque, trying to fit in with his group by carrying an orangutan plush toy as a surrogate mother, has captured the attention of people around the world. Blackpink's Lisa posted about her visit to Ichikawa Zoological and Botanical Garden to meet “Punch” on her Instagram Stories, which became a hot topic. Aimyon, who is celebrating her 10th anniversary this year, is also fulfilling a long-held dream of meeting a koala in Australia. Zoos and aquariums are special places that offer healing just by visiting, but they are also evolving as places to learn about ecology, including animal welfare, species conservation, and living environments. From newly renovated jellyfish sanctuaries, new-era elephant enclosures to the latest facilities that stimulate intellectual curiosity, we have gathered popular animals you'll want to see, and zoos and aquariums that will make you want to learn more!
