“Postmodern
ポストモダンのデザインを知っていますか?” (你了解後現代設計嗎？)
追求合理性和機能性的現代主義成為當代建築和設計基礎，但在1960至1970年代，有人批評這種情況變得過於單一和同質化。因此，後現代主義作為一種超越現代主義的價值觀在20世紀80年代出現。Memphis是一家總部位於米蘭的設計集團，同時也是一場設計運動的中心，該運動創造了一個具有雕塑形式和流行配色方案的時代。目前，集團領導人Ettore Sottsass全面回顧展正在日本開催中。此外，從倉俣史朗、梅田正徳，到參加Memphis的内田繁和大橋晃朗等日本設計師的創作空間和家具也正陸續復刻。將後現代產品融入內裝的案例越來越多 — 這就是為甚麼我們製作後現代設計特集，因為它近年一直重新獲得高度評價！
 
“Postmodern”
While modernism, which pursued rationality and functionality, forms the foundation of contemporary architecture and design, it also faced criticism in the 1960s and 1970s for becoming too uniform and homogenized. Postmodernism emerged in the 1980s as a value system that transcended modernism. This design movement, characterized by its sculptural forms and pop color schemes, was spearheaded by the Milan-based design collective Memphis. Currently, the first major retrospective of Ettore Sottsass, the group's leader, is being held in Japan. Furthermore, reproductions of spaces and furniture created by Japanese designers, from Shiro Kuramata, Masanori Umeda to Shigeru Uchida and Ohashi Teruaki, who were part of Memphis, are rapidly progressing. The use of postmodern products in interior design is also increasing. Therefore, this issue explores postmodern design, which has been experiencing a resurgence in popularity in recent years!
