“The Most Scenic Hotels”
Since its founding in 2020, NOT A HOTEL has been developing facilities designed by star architects one after another. This April, the first building completed in Japan by BIG, led by world-renowned architect Bjarke Ingels, opened as NOT A HOTEL SETOUCHI on Sagishima, a remote island in the Seto Inland Sea. Surrounded by the sea on all sides and with mountains making up more than 70% of the land, this Japanese resort with its spectacular views continues to develop. Meanwhile, in Asia, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Geoffrey Bawa's birth, his early masterpiece Cinnamon Bentota Beach has reopened after renovations. Potato Head, a resort in Bali that blends art and sustainability, is also popular.
