“音のいい部屋” (悅耳的房間)
舒適的房子並非僅靠物品營造；瀰漫其中的氛圍、氣味和聲音同樣重要。這正是2017年MOOK「悅耳的房間」雜誌的出發點。如今，音訊、設計和文化之間的聯繫日益緊密，引領這一潮流的當屬由紐約音響設計師Devon Turnbull領導的OJAS公司。他們的聆聽室和揚聲器被廣泛應用於各種場所 — 從美國現代美術館、設計博物館到Supreme和NIGO®的NOT A HOTEL TOKYO。今年春天， Devon完成東京一家「悅耳房間」的音響翻新工程，並在Karimoku Research Center舉辦了名為「間の音」展覽。在這裡，我們將透過這間最新的聆聽室，探索理想的「悅耳房間」。
 
“Listening Room”
A comfortable room cannot be created by objects alone; the atmosphere, scents, and sounds that permeate it are also crucial. This question was the starting point for the 2017 MOOK “A Room with Sound”. Currently, audio, design and culture are drawing even closer together. At the forefront is OJAS, led by New York audio designer Devon Turnbull. Their listening rooms and speakers are used in everything from American contemporary art museums, design museums to Supreme and NIGO®'s NOT A HOTEL TOKYO. This spring, Devon completed a renovation of a "room with sound" in Tokyo and even held an exhibition called “Between Space and Sound” at Karimoku Research Center. There, we explore the ideal "room with sound" through this latest listening room.
