“Filson & L. L. Bean”
《2nd》Magazine一直是我們很喜歡的雜誌，「The reference book for clothes enthusiast」已解釋了他們「特刊向」的編集方針。有別於《Lightning》等硬派美式文化誌，《2nd》混合了時代感，但介紹起美國品牌時卻又展現出深厚的知識基礎，誠然是極具收藏價值的。每隔一段時間，就會有重量級特刊出現，如之前熱賣的「We Love Alden Special Issue」及「Filson & L. L. Bean」兩本重量級特刊正是最佳例子。
 
繼上回Alden大特集引起巨大迴響，《2nd》編集部再來一回美國品牌特集，更大胆的將兩大巨頭並列，分別是Modern Times當店品牌，來自西雅圖擁有百年歷史的Filson，以及我們團隊愛用的來自緬因州的L.L. Bean，同樣是百年戶外品牌。如此重量陣容，是絕對要珍藏的一冊。「第一特集」：西邊的Filson，東邊的L.L.Bean — 兩個美國領先戶外品牌分別設計了「Mackinaw Cruiser Jacket」和「Bean Boots」，這兩大突破性產品將同時決定品牌未來的歷史性成功。它們立刻征服了國家的戶外田野，漂洋過海佔領了我們的衣櫥。本刊將潛入兩大品牌的美國總部，從當地氣氛、堅持Made In U.S.A.的美國工廠生產風景到旗艦店，解構兩大品牌；此外還會介紹充滿用家回憶的古怪故事，與及店內工作人員著裝風格精選；當然還有品牌大量傑作和新產品！關於大牌魅力的特色，對於我們的假日造型來說必不可少。另外，「第二特集」是「育成紳士的逸品」— 編輯部為你帶來一系列古董表、鋼筆和配飾精選。

Two of America's leading outdoor brands devise a “Mackinaw Cruiser Jacket” and “Bean Boots”, the breakthrough products that will determine future historic success at the same time. They immediately conquered their country's outdoor fields and crossed the sea to occupy our wardrobe. In “The First Feature”, we visited the US headquarters of these two major brands! Introducing the atmosphere of the local area, from the production scenery at the American factory that still stick to “Made in U.S.A.” to their flagship shops. Also from the eccentric story of the user and the dressing style of the select shop staff. Of course, we will introduce plenty of masterpieces and new products! A special feature on the charm of big names that are indispensable for our holiday style. “The Second Feature” is "I will teach you a ‘gem’ that raises a gentleman” — the editorial department carefully selects antique watches, fountain pens and fine accessories that can easily “raise a gentleman”.
