“変化に酔う” (沉醉経年變化)

Based on American culture, Lightning focuses on everything from fashion to lifestyle with a slightly picky eye on people and things. The keyword for the latest issue is “change over time”. Whether it's jeans, boots or leather jackets, the appeal of items that can be used for a long time without being swayed by trends, thanks to the color fading, wrinkles, and peculiarities that come from using them over time. One of the reasons why many enthusiasts are born is that the attractiveness of the items increases by time. It's not just the clothes you wear every day, and it's not uncommon for antique watches and classic cars to be evaluated as "valuable” these days for their textures that can't be created without time. We are now in an age where a model that retains a slightly tired look from the time as it was manufactured is more valued than a shiny classic car that has been repainted in the modern era. It is not uncommon to see houses and garages using old materials that have an atmosphere like from the beginning. The first special feature of this issue proposes selection of items based on keywords such as “aging”, which is born only through the passage of time.
