Roberu於2007年成立，初期收到東京一家相機店委託，希望岩元先生設計皮革相機帶，帶來了品牌發展的跳升點。以用家角度出發、使用極優質的天然染色皮革，令Roberu的相機帶及相機保護套表現出前所未有的面貎，給顧客們帶來極大新鮮感，為Roberu成長建立起很重要的基石。除了皮革以外，Roberu亦嘗試以不同物料如羊毛、帆布及麻質製作相機帶，在顏色及物料的運用上，再一步突破了相機帶一向沉悶的框架。

 

In 2007, a well-known Tokyo camera store reached out to Roberu to design a special leather camera strap for them, this item would prove to be a hit and introduced many to the brand. Looking at this item now, it is not hard to see the reason for its popularity, made with high quality natural dye leather that evolves according to its users practices; this sort of attention towards the user is what became the cornerstone of the brand. Outside leather, Roberu has also experimented with different colors and materials such as wool, canvas, and hemp, which separate it from the usual run-of-the-mill camera straps and holders.
